Both structures burned Monday night

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Two mobile homes, about a football field apart, burned on Monday night just off the 900 block of Davis Chapel Road.

“We were fortunate no one was injured or died. The Fire Service did not get a call about the fires until this morning. No one called them in,” said Captain Daniel Lawson with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service.

This is the second of two mobile homes that burned Monday night.

The Captain describes the structures on Watts Lane as still smoldering with the fire contained upon the Service’s arrival just after 8am Tuesday.
