Mitchell Wallace, age 60 of Rocky Top, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the North Knoxville Medical Center. He was born September 12, 1964. Mitchell loved fishing, camping, landscaping, playing games, having get togethers with his family and friends. He also enjoyed helping others. He never met a stranger.

Mitchell is preceded in death by parents, Roy and Fleda Wallace; brothers, Lawrence Wallace, Troy Wallace, Roy Lee Wallace, and Alvin Wallace; sisters, Emma Sue Rutherford, and Lula Mae Overbey; a special lady Sue Franse and her husband John; sons, Roy Morgan Wallace, Mike Bray; and grandson, CJ Bray.

He is survived by: daughter, Jennifer Renea Wallace; sons, Kyle Franse, Lawrence Edward Wallace, and John Cox of Lafollette, Travis Elliott; Amanda Campbell, who he loved as a daughter; brothers, Gene Edward Wallace of Alabama, and Maynard Wallace of Lafollette; sisters, Mildred Carr and Carolyn Weaver Lindsey of Lafollette; grandchildren, Luca Alexander Wallace, Claudette Varner, Jacob Varner, Jeremiah Varner, Kyra Goins, Aaron Goins, Josh Carr and wife Mattie, Makayla Franse, Darian Franse, Megan Franse, Drake Elliott, Morgan Elliott, and Isaac Elliott; great-grandchildren, Cadan Bray, Shanel Harris, Ayden Harris, JJ Underwood, Zachariah Varner, Chloe Bray, Judson Carr, Paislee Holden; and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5-7pm. His funeral will be on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 12 noon with the graveside service to follow at Red Hill Cemetery in Andersonville.
