Mildred Shumate Jones, age 97, of LaFollette passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was preceded in death by husband: Billy (Kenny) Jones, parents: Huey Shumate and Irene Hyder, sister: Pearl Fleegall, brother: Joe Shumate

The family will receive friends 11 AM to 12 PM Monday, July 6, 2026  at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and then proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for a 12:30 PM Graveside Service and Interment, Rev. Wade Walls officiating.
