Mary Magdelene Phillips, age 93 of LaFollette

Mary Magdelene Phillips, age 93 of LaFollette entered into her heavenly home on Sunday September 14, 2025. She was born on February 4, 1932, in LaFollette to the late Leland and Lonnie (Carroll) Fritts. She was a member of Fordtown Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed crocheting, adult coloring, her flower garden and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Jack Phillips; her son in law George Wieber; her brothers Billy, Bobby and James Fritts; her sisters Helen Monroe, Linda Seals and Esta Lee Kessel.

Mary is survived by her son Denford Phillips and wife Karen; her daughter Delilah Wieber; her brothers Frank Fritts and wife Wilma, Leon Fritts and wife Pearl; her grandchildren George Wieber and wife Maria, Monica Bickett and husband Paul, Travis Phillips and Aaron Phillips; her great grandchildren Savanna, Richie, Daniel, Chloe, Skyler and Harlynn; her family friends Pat Bond, Jonica Green and Fay Phillips; several nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday September 18, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Leon Fritts officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 AM on Friday September 19, 2025, at the funeral home and go in funeral procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 10:00 AM graveside service with Pastor Tony McAfee presiding.
