Marsha Karen Ervin, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on January 29, 2026, at North Knoxville Medical Center. Born on May 26, 1951, in Shoals, Indiana, Marsha brought light and warmth to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Her life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her deep devotion to her faith in Yeshua the Christ.

Marsha exemplified kindness and compassion in all aspects of her life. Described as having “no mean bone in her body,” she nurtured those around her with an extraordinary level of care. She was cherished not only by her immediate family but by everyone she met. Her life was a tapestry of love, woven through her relationships, her hobbies, and her unwavering faith.

Marsha was a loving wife to Don Ervin for 42 wonderful years, standing by his side as a steadfast partner. Together, they created a beautiful family that flourished under her nurturing spirit. She is survived by her four favorite children: Taylor Rollings and his wife Pam of Nebraska, Maggie Pearson and her husband Keith of LaFollette, Jordan Ervin and his wife Rachel of Nepal, and Bethany Gambrell and her husband Aaron of LaFollette. Marsha took immense pride in her seventeen grandchildren, four adopted grandchildren, and she eagerly awaited the arrival of her only great-grandchild.

Marsha’s siblings also held a special place in her heart; she is survived by her brother Randy Bailey and his wife Peggy of Indiana, as well as her sister Patty Medvescek and her husband Johnny of Indiana. A much-loved aunt, she will be missed by several nieces, nephews, and a wide host of relatives and friends who were fortunate enough to call her their own.

A talented singer and poet, Marsha expressed herself through the arts and found joy in music. Her culinary skills were remarkable, and she was known for her delectable cooking that brought families together around the dinner table. Ever dedicated to her faith, she attended The Upper Room and loved the Lord with her heart and soul and strength. It was this deep connection to her faith that fortified her resilience and enriched her family’s lives.

Marsha was predeceased by her parents, Leary George Bailey and Margaret Evelyn (Bratton) Bailey, as well as her brother Bob Bailey and sister Peggy Shelley. Though they have left this earthly realm, her legacy of love and kindness will carry on through the hearts she touched.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marsha’s life at Martin Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette, TN. Visitation will take place on Tuesday February 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM. The burial will follow at Bakers Forge Cemetery at 11:30 AM.

Marsha Karen Ervin will forever be remembered for her boundless love and compassion, a guiding light in the lives she touched. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, fostering a legacy of love that will transcend the boundaries of time and space.
