Finishing touches are being applied to sign bases

By Charlie Hutson

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- In the above photo, Richard Marlow, on the left side, and Stoney “Popcorn” Kimberlin are rocking the east city limit sign base near the Food Lion. Richard said this finished their part of the sign.

Stoney said they had finished the one at the city RV park on North Tennessee Avenue earlier (above).

One thing about these local boys, they have talent. Richard told me that his son Randy built a tomb in the parking lot at Grace Baptist Church, across from LUB. Stoney said it started as a septic tank, and Randy turned it into a tomb (above photo). Now how cool is that. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/27/2025-6AM)
