Twelve offices will not be contested, State Representative race will be decided in August

CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF)- The General Election for Campbell County is set for Thu., Aug. 6. However, the ballot is just now taking shape after the May Primary.
There are several races that will not be contested on Aug. 6. They are for Constable- Districts 1, 2, 3 & 4 (expect a write-in candidate for 5th District), Trustee, School Board- District 5, Circuit Court Clerk, Register of Deeds and County Attorney.
Here’s how August ballot is shaping up:
The votes listed are the votes candidates received in the May Primary.
Clerk: Tyler L. King vs. Maria Partin 2,256 votes
Mayor: Jimmy Jeffries (R) 2,788 vs. Jack Lynch
School Board: (one candidate per district wins)
District 1- Jeffrey Miller (R) 614 votes vs. write-in candidate Becky Aiken
District 2- Brooke Longmire Dorton, Marvin T. Rutherford (D) 27 votes and Christopher James Lee Honeycutt (R) 399 votes face off
District 3- Randy Heatherly (R) 666 votes vs. Jacob Perkins
Commission: (three candidates per district win)
District 1- M. David Adkins, Joshua A. Etters (R) 415 votes, David Greene (R) 714, Zachary Marlow
District 2- Jerry Brown (R) 515, Beverly Stanfield Hall, David R. Longmire, Lonnie Weldon
District 3- Dewayne Baird (R) 611 votes, Lawrence (Rusty) Orick, Jason Shetterly, Scott Stanfield, Anthony Terry (R) 320 votes
District 4- Johnny “Coach” Bruce, Marlana Lester, Devin Oakes, Ray Perry (R) 362 votes, Chris Stanley (R) 511 votes, Nathan Treadway (R) 337 votes
District 5- Suzette Davenport, Ralph Davis, Ferlin “Clay” Morgan, Dwight E. Osborn, Katrena Powers Reynolds, Pauline Walden Roberts (R) 588 votes
