Background and Overview

The LaFollette Housing Authority (LHA) was incorporated in 1950 as a public housing authority (PHA) under the laws of the State of Tennessee.  LHA provides affordable housing across a seven-county, twelve-city region in upper East Tennessee and administers Housing Choice Vouchers in three counties.  LHA is governed by a 12 member Board of Directors appointed by the Mayor of each town represented by the Authority and operates in accordance with federal HUD regulations, Tennessee law and LHA policies.

LHA seeks proposals from qualified law firms or individual practitioners to provide legal services across a range of housing-related, administrative, regulatory, and operational matters. 

This RFP is issued pursuant to LHA procurement policies and HUD procurement requirements (2 CFR 200).  Current legal service providers must submit a proposal to remain eligible for future work.  Respondents may propose services in one or multiple practice areas but may submit only one proposal.
