Leslie Ann Johnson, age 70 from Jacksboro, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 1, 2025.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the West LaFollette Baptist Church.  Her faith was strong, even though her health kept her from attending church services in person. She was a former longtime member of East LaFollette Baptist Church. Leslie was an antique enthusiast. She enjoyed going shopping and eating at Red Lobster. She loved spending time with her family at Christmas, but her greatest joy was having the family over for lunch on Sunday after church. Leslie worked for over 40 years at Tennova Home Health. In April, she helped organize a reunion for all past Tennova Home Health employees.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson; father, Lester Damon Suttle; mother, Carole Ann Hall; stepfather, Edmund Lee Hall; sister, Angela Marlene Hatfield; grandparents, Allen “Babe” and Opal Beatrice Suttle, and James Nowell and Margaret Luella Porter.

Leslie is survived by her son, Damon Charles Johnson and wife Gillian; daughters, Hilary Ann Smith and husband Stephen, Angela Nowelle Miller and husband Robert; sister, Carmel Edmunda Hall; grandchildren; Leah Miller, Grayson Smith, Harper Johnson, and Callum Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev.  Sampson Ridenour and Bro. Monroe Johnson officiating. The family will meet on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 9:15 AM to go in the funeral procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for a 10 AM interment.
