LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Campbell County’s only locally owned and operated building supply store was recognized on Friday as the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism “Business of the Month” for March. “I would not be here today if not for all the hard work my father and mother put into making this business a success,” said Kip Leach, owner-operator of Kash & Karry Building Supply. Leach and his brother Greg, an attorney, own the store together.

J.B. Leach and his wife Linda started Kash & Karry when Kip was still in high school in the mid-1980s. “Except for college, I’ve been here right here. I travel a lot and have been to a lot of places, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but right here in Campbell County,” said Kip Leach.

Missy Tackett, Executive Director of the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, and Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch praised Kash & Karry Building Supply and how it’s helped build Campbell County, literally. “Kash & Karry is a staple of the community, and it’s operated by a great family,” said Lynch.

Kip Leach expressed his appreciation for the honor of being the business of the month. “I had no idea there would be this kind of turnout for this celebration,” said Kip Leach. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/10/2025-6AM)
