Julian H. Crews, age 91 of Knoxville departed this life on Friday March 21, 2025 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1933 in Lerona, West Virginia to the late Grover and Maudie (Law) Crews. Julian was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Erwin, Tennessee. He loved reading his bible and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. When he was not spending time with his family he would be gardening or mowing his yard. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his cars and decorating his house for different holidays and seasons. Julian was a United States Army Veteran who served his country proudly. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Army Occupation Medal during his service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Hazel M. Crews and his eleven siblings.

Julian is survived by his son Julian Earl Crews and wife Pam; his grandchildren Shannon McFerrin and husband Ty, Julian Crews Jr. and wife Amber, Justin Crews and Jessica Grindstaff; his great grandchildren Tyson, Crews, Joseph, Sydney, Julia and Mia; his great great-grandchildren Liam and Savannah; and a host of other other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for Julian on Tuesday March 25, 2025 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Graveside services will follow visitation at 12:30 PM at Bakers Forge Cemetery with Pastor Perry Duncan presiding. Military honors will be presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
