James Troy Fraley, age 89, of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Troy loved the Lord and God’s beautiful creation. He was a huge Tennessee sports fan. He loved being outdoors, whether hunting in the mountains, fishing on the lakes, or just sitting under a shade tree watching his garden grow. The legacy he leaves behind is one of Faith, Love, and Family.

Troy is preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Fraley; parents, Caleb and Myrtle Lindsay Fraley; brothers, Charles, Stan, Frank, and John Fraley.

He is survived by his son, Tony Fraley and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Kristen Bryant and husband Brandon, Autumn Fraley, Tosha Slice and husband Drew, Tara Cochran and husband Jacob, Tiffany Hamilton, and Zachery Hamilton and wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Tatum, Sawyer, Kaden, Harper, Matthias, Isabella, Timothee, Jameson, and Jaimee; mother of his children Tomalee Fraley; sister, Mary Ruth Bruce; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 12 PM to 2 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Cochran, Rev. Hansford Bolton, and Rev. JT Asbury officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery.
