James Anthony Rutherford, age 57, departed this life on Wednesday July 30, 2025. He was born on November 13, 1967 to late Tony and Mildred Muse Rutherford.

He was a loving husband of 26 years that enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his brothers, Timmy Rutherford and David Rutherford.

James is survived by his wife, Vickie Rutherford; niece, Brandi; nephew, Shane; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 11 AM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating. Interment to follow at Webb Cemetery in Jellico.
