It’s workshop day for the City of LaFollette

The workshop is set for Monday, May 19, 5:30pm, at City Hall

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- It’s workshop night for the City of LaFollette Board of Mayor and Aldermen.

On the agenda is a discussion about the Tank Springs area and appointment of a LaFollette Utility Board Member. Last month the city discussed the use of off duty employees for non-city events, tonight they will continue the discussion.

Several ordinances are on the agenda for a final reading. Beginning with Ordinance 2025-02 amending C2 Hwy Business District permitting retail package stores; Ordinance 2025-03 amending R-1 and R-2 residential districts prohibiting burial plots; Ordinance 2025-04 amending zoning C-1 and C-2 pertaining to storage facilities; Ordinance 2025-05 amending specific permitted street use for ATV’s updating permittable streets and Ordinance 2025-06 amending Title 8 of the City of LaFollette Municipal Code by establishing liquor regulations and amending beer regulations.
