Hubert Ray Kidd, age 82, of Jellico

Hubert Ray Kidd, age 82, of Jellico, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his residence to be with the Lord on June 7, 2026. He was born on April 18, 1944, in Jellico, Tennessee.

Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mary Magdaline (Lena) Kidd; his sisters, Barbara Louise Bowling, Mary Ruth Cooper, and Mattie Retha Childress; and his brother, William Martin Kidd.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Alene (Hackler) Kidd; his sons, Andrew Kidd, Harvey Kidd and wife Heather, and Joshua Kidd; his granddaughter, Candice Kidd Petree and husband Joseph; his grandson, Erik Kidd and wife Tara; his great-grandsons, Daniel Petree and Tyson Petree; his brothers, Leslie Edward Kidd and Omar Kidd and wife Lois; along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on June 10, 2026, at Jellico Church of God of the Mountain Assembly with Rev. Scott Landes and Rev. D.J. Osborn officiating. Family and friends will meet for visitation from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Hackler Cemetery in Jellico, Tennessee, with full military honors provided by the Jellico Honor Guard.
