Hometown Pools and Spa offers tips to keep pools clean

Keeping your pool clean and ready to use is easy when you follow these tips:

-Skim the pool daily to rid it of debris.

-Clean the sides with a brush as needed.

-Vacuum the pool as needed.

-Clean the skimmer basket daily.

-Have your water tested often by a professional. They can recommend the chemicals needed to keep the water clean and clear.

-Watch the water levels in the pool. Too little or too much water can stress the equipment.

-Check the equipment and replace broken parts.

-Consider scheduling an annual service visit from a pool professional.

Hometown Pools and Spa has been open since 2009 and is locally owned by Charles Willoughby and Lisa Rolston. The pair has more than 35 years of pool and spa experience.
