Mrs. Helen (Jones) Huddleston

Age 85 of Eagan, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 16, 1938, in Clairfield, Tennessee.  Helen loved babysitting, quilting, cooking and especially peanut butter roll, traveling with family & friends, crocheting and doing word search.  She loved God and her family very much. 

     Helen is preceded in death by:

Husband: Glenn Huddleston

Father: Rev. Robert Jones

Mother: Cora Lee (Hamblin) Jones

Brothers: Donnie Lee Jones, Billy Ray Jones

Sister: Norma Jean Popp

Nieces: Joann (Jones) Schofield, Neita (Jones) Ward, Karen (Partin) Duncan

Brothers-in-law: George “Pebo” Partin, Alvin Popp, Allen Powers, Charles Dupree

Sister-in-law: Joan Jones

     She is survived by:

Brothers: David Jones & wife Carolyn, Sammy Jones & wife Carolyn

Sisters: Sally Ruth Powers, Bertha Dupree

Sister-in-law: Charlene Jones

A host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn her passing.

Special thanks to Suncrest Hospice, especially Andrew & April, and her caretakers Ellen Hamblin, Patty Taylor & Mary Hatfield.

We the Jones family want to thank our precious sister Sally Ruth (Jones) Powers for all her love & dedication on taking such wonderful care of our loving sister Helen, we love you so much. Helen is now cured from her battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

The family will receive friends: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Midway Baptist Church with funeral services starting at 11 a.m.

Officiating: Rev. Ewell Meyers & Johnny Powers her nephew will be reading the obituary

Burial: to follow in the Hamblin Cemetery
