CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF)- The weekend’s challenge of heavy rainfall and flooding is transitioning into a week of dangerously hot conditions with oppressive humidity beginning as soon as today.
It’s a foggy beginning to Monday, and with plenty of moisture in place, there is the outside chance of a passing shower or storm through the day. This mostly sunny, steamy day takes temps to 90 with a feels-like reading of 100-degrees.
Hot temperatures well into the 90s are likely this week, starting Monday. Heat indices, the feels-like temperature, will climb above 100 degrees in the region, especially by mid week.

There is not a Heat Advisory in place. However, one may be needed in the following days.
