LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Oppressive heat and humidity is on tap again today. Hot sunshine goes along with a high in the mid-90s and a feels-like reading around 105-degrees today as more steamy weather is featured.

There is the marginal threat of severe weather today, primarily during a time frame of 4pm through sunset. Damaging wind, tropical-like downpours of rain and flooding are the main concerns.

You’ll want to limit your time outdoors, wear light colored clothing, drink frequent water and take breaks if outdoors.
