The last stage is the rolling the pavement.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The best WLAF can figure in researching years and years back, until now, 1977 was the last time the entire stretch of Beech Street was paved from Jacksboro Pike to East Central Avenue. The paving of the entire 1.63 mile street has been in the works since 2018, and it now is closing in on completion.

The paver is working toward the edge of the East Beech Street Bridge; the goal line to end the long stretch pf paving.

Just before noon Tuesday Rogers Group completed the last section of the long run on East Beech Street to the bridge.  The side streets will still have to be tied in and then the road marking. As with any outdoor project the weather is a major factor.

The finish requires some hand work to blend the pavement and concrete bridge.
