George E. Davis, age 79, of Caryville (Stoney Fork Community) passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He was a lifetime member of Beech Fork Baptist Church, a member of Jacksboro Masonic Lodge #322 F&AM, retired from Rogers Group and had previously worked as a coal miner. He was Preceded in death by Parents: Charles and Jimmie Tackett Davis, Sister: Beulah Akers and husband Kyle, Brother: Bobby Davis and wife Lorene, Special Friend: Wilma Braden.

Brother: Herbert (Peanut) Davis and Kathy Lane

Niece: Christy Barton and husband Kris Barton

Friends: Tammy and Monty Braden

A host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-6:45 PM Friday, January 24, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Masonic Service at 6:45 PM and funeral service at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel,

Rev. C. W. Fraker and Rev. James Adkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM on Saturday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Beech Fork Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
