George E. Cody, age 86, of Speedwell

George E. Cody, age 86, of Speedwell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

George was born on February 19, 1940 in Middlesboro, Ky., a life well lived. He was a US Army Veteran. Son of the late Henry Cody and Viola Sharp Cody. Also, preceded in death by Great-granddaughter, Faith E.S. Dietrich and sisters, Patsy Raymond, Phyllis Anderson, Judy Maiden, Carolyn Hedrick, Brenda Cody, brother, Danny Cody.

He leaves behind:

Daughter: Tammy Cody Herzog and husband John Herzog of Saginaw, MI

Son: Eugene E Cody and wife Susan Cody of Midland, MI

Grandchildren: Sandra Dietrich, Justin Dietrich, Kevin Kinasz, Jordon Cody, Megan Cody.

Siblings: Donald Cody, Harold Cody, Curtis Cody, Raymond Cody, Larry Cody, Alice Hall
