Body scanner locates more drugs during booking process

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- At a home on South Sudenny Lane (photo above) is where Campbell Sheriff’s investigators executed a narcotics search warrant not long before lunch time on Wednesday.

Detective-Sergeant Franklin Ayers led the investigation that netted four arrests and the confiscation of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

In a downstairs bedroom, six small blue pills, with an M on one side, were found on a nightstand, and then 30 more of the same pills were found under a mattress, according to the sheriff’s arrest report. Also discovered were the same blue pills packaged, allegedly, for resale. They were found in the living room. In the freezer in the kitchen, a glass smoking pipe was located. Hypodermic needles were also among the drug paraphernalia confiscated.

One of the suspects, 42-year old Amber Renae Tilson, allegedly admitted to placing a bag of meth under the table during her interview at the county jail to keep from being charged possessing it. Tilson also admitted to selling meth, stated that one of the other suspects, Canyon Anderson, 27, sold the aforementioned blue pills. It was written in the report that Tilson stated the blue pills were pressed pills with possible fentanyl pills.

Brittany Dakota Teeple

Brittany Dakota Teeple, 30, the third of four individuals who were arrested, had a small, zip lock bag inside her person that was found by the body scanner, according to the report. The bag was believed to contain meth.

Jaden Jenkins

Jaden Jenkins, 20, was also in the home during the raid. He was charged and released for possession of drug parphernalia. His next court date is Aug. 29.

Canyon Anderson

Anderson faces charges of the manufacture-delivery-sell of schedule II controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

Amber Renae Tilson

A hold for Anderson County was among multiple charges levied against Tilson. The list includes driving while suspended, the possession as well as manufacture-delivery-sell of schedule II controlled substance, driving while suspended, tampering with evidence, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and introduction or possession in a penal institution.

Teeple, listed as homeless, was charged with possession schedule II and III controlled substance, tampering with evidence (two counts), felony possession of drug paraphernalia and introduction or possession in a penal institution.

Anderson, Teeple and Tilson remain housed in the Campbell Jail this morning. The bonds are set at $40,000 for Anderson, $75,000 for Tilson and $125,000 for Teeple. Each is due in court on Aug. 29. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/19/2024-6AM)
