Flora Elizabeth “Mary” Wells, age 77, of Caryville

Flora Elizabeth “Mary” Wells, age 77, of Caryville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Turkey Creek Medical Center. She was born on May 28, 1948, to the late Charlie Williamson and Evelena (Hill) Williamson. Flora was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, working in the garden, fishing, and painting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Wells; son, Robert Kennedy; sisters, Ruby, Ruth, Freda, and Geneva Williamson. 

She is survived by her daughter, Patty Sue Hammond, and her boyfriend, Steven Alexander; her boyfriend, Donnie Hickman; brothers, Charles Williamson and Tommy Williamson; grandchild, Robert George Hammond III; great-grandchild, Fancy Lashea Hammond; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery
