LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A fire involving a home and two garages was first detected a little before 3am Tuesday. The Campbell County Rural Fire Service was soon dispatched to 165 East Village Circle and learned that the family escaped without injury.

The home is located just off Old Highway 63 a bit east of Big O’s.

Firefighters were able to hook hose to a nearby fire hydrant and had the fire initially cut off though needing more help to finish extinguishing the fire.

Mutual aid from the La Follette Fire Department was requested around 3:30am with a page to the Caryville Volunteer Fire Department. The Jacksboro Fire Department was later paged to the scene.

Multiple agencies, firefighters battling house fire at this hour

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A fire at a home east of La Follette was called in to Central Dispatch Tuesday morning at 2:51 dispatching the Campbell County Rural Fire Service.

The home, at 165 East Village Circle, is located just off Old Highway 63 a bit east of Big O’s. It was reported a home and two garages were on fire.
