Expect good weather for Campbell’s football opener on Friday with Halls at home
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- We stay mainly rain-free today as temps struggle to make it to 80-degrees under mostly sunny skies. A low of 58 is on the way tonight under partly cloudy skies. Both the high and low are below average, 86 for a high and 65 the low.
Intermittent showers with an occasional rumble of thunder will continue through this afternoon mainly in Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and the higher elevations of Campbell County and the East Tennessee Mountains. Dry conditions and sunny skies return Tuesday. Seasonally mild temperatures are expected to persist through mid week.
Dry weather is expected the rest of the week and the weekend, and as wild as it sounds in August, maybe pack the kids a light jacket/long sleeve shirt for the morning bus ride a couple of days this week. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/19/2024-6AM)
