Ethel Mae Worley, age 59 of Oak Ridge

Ethel Mae Worley, age 59 of Oak Ridge, was best known as Little Ethel, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2026, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee. Ethel was born on November 2, 1966, in Oak Ridge, TN. She lived most of her life in this area and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Rose Mathis, Her grandparents, Blaine Sampsel and Ethel Stocks; Brother, Gary Duncan, Sunny Lowe, Sister, Teresa Khan; Uncles Glen Ray Samples and Michael Sines, Aunts, Donna Rose Sampsel and Jennifer Mae Williams.

She is survived by her children, Helen and Connie Gibson, the father of her children, Ed Gibson, her siblings, Tammy Hammonds, Eddie Duncan, Dennis Duncan, James Duncan, and Charles Duncan; her aunts, Louise Marsee, Ollie Forsythe, and Ray Hooks, Frances Sines. One grandchild. Also survived by other extended family members and special friends.

Visitation will be from 1-2 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2026. At Graves Gap Baptist Church. The Service will be at 2 PM at the Church with Rev. Lonnie Lowe and Rev. Irwin Taylor officiating. Burial will be private.
