Eddie Wayne Blair, age 85, of Speedwell

Eddie Wayne Blair, age 85, of Speedwell passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at his home. He was born on January 30, 1941 in Norton, Virginia. Retired after 33 years from General Motors in Indiana. Eddie leaves behind memories and love that will forever be cherished by family and friends. He had an infectious sense of humor and a genuine warmth that endeared him to all who knew him. He also enjoyed his horses and the peaceful farm life. Eddie is preceded in death by his Mother: Cleo Gore, Grandparents: Clarence and Mary Blair, Son: Brian Allen Blair, Sister: Priscilla Marling.

3 Grandchildren: Isabella, Hannah and Apryl

Great Grandchildren: Quinlynn Jovie, Jaydelyn, Harper and Oakleigh

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow in Cross-Smith Chapel at 7 PM, Rev. Wade Walls officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Friday, April 3, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 11 AM Interment.
