This compact car veered off Pinecrest Road, and the driver was entrapped inside the car.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- A Friday afternoon wreck sent one person to the hospital by way of a medical helicopter.

At 1:58pm on Friday, members of the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were dispatched to the 900 block of Pinecrest Road for the report of an accident with injuries.

A crew in one of the CCRFS crash trucks responded.

While enroute, the CCRFS crew was notified of one patient entrapped inside the vehicle.

The driver of this car was airlifted to a Knoxville hospital.

.The CCRFS crew quickly extricated the patient, and the male subject, in his 30s, was transported by Campbell EMS to the Campbell County Airport. A medical helicopter, at the airport, airlifted the patient to UT Hospital. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-06/22/2026-6AM-PHOTOS SUBMITTED)
