LUB and La Follette Police respond before 7am

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A passerby noticed a downed power line on East Central Avenue on Walters Funeral Home hill and called LUB and then La Follette 911.

Crews worked both sides of the four lane.

Crews with LUB responded along with La Follette Police.

Traffic was stopped in both directions at 8am as crews finished up.

For the better part of two hours, traffic was slowed down while LUB worked the wires and LPD handled traffic.
