Deloris Farrar, lovingly known as Lois, of LaFollette passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on August 21, 1951, she lived a life rooted in family, strength, and quiet devotion to those she loved most.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Walden and Beulah Lane Walden; her sisters, Phyllis Fraley and Wilma Rutherford; and her brothers, Willis “Bud” Walden and James Walden.
She leaves behind her son: Richard Jones and wife Susan Jones, and her daughter, Tonya Kitts. Lois was a proud grandmother to Kayla, Brittney, Kendra, Marie, Jordann, Desiree Kitts, and grandson Zachary Kitts, and a cherished great-grandmother to Abbagail, Jax, and Russell and claimed many more. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great joy in watching it grow.
Lois will be remembered for her steady presence, her deep love for her family, and the many quiet ways she cared for those around her. She also had a spunky spirit that brought laughter, warmth, and a little spark wherever she went -something her loved ones will always cherish.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A life well lived, a love that remains.
At her request no services are planned.
