Long night for LUB crews

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Crews with La Follette Utilities Board have been out the balance of the night and morning working to restore power to customers across their service area.

From Ridgewood to Morley to Yoakum Crossroad, there are power outages stemming mainly from damaging wind and downed trees. At one point, there were upwards of 30 different scattered outages impacting around a thousand customers.

Wind gusts as high as 40 miles per hour have been blowing since Thursday night. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-12/19/2025-6AM)
