Coach Rusty Fields Cougars won the regular season and district tournament championships

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County High School Tennis team and coach Rusty Fields were recognized at Monday’s County Commission meeting.
County Mayor Jack Lynch said he and the commission were honored to recognize the team for exemplifying teamwork and sportsmanship and demonstrating exceptional skill in pursuit of excellence.
They were recognized for “Individual and team victories” both of which could not have been accomplished without support from coaches and community.”
Commissioner Dewayne Baird said he had coached a lot of the kids when they were younger and that it was great to see their accomplishments and to get the gratitude they deserve,” Baird said.
Coach Fields said it would do so much for the program. He thanked commissioners for honoring the team and for the support of parents and the community. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/20/2026-6AM)
