The Cougars shutout Gibbs while the Lady Cougars claim a 6-3 win

KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF)- It was a thrilling afternoon of tennis on Wednesday for the Campbell County Cougars and Lady Cougars. At the Halls Elementary School tennis courts is where Campbell claimed both wins over the Gibbs Eagles and Lady Eagles.

The Lady Cougars brought home a 6-3 win by way of an 8-0 shutout victory from Reagan Davis, Jade Higdon’s 6-4 win, a 6-2 triumph by Danni Hammac along with Alivia Lawson’s 8-1 victory. Doubles victories came from the teams of Higdon-Hammac and Lawson and Kourtney Torres.

On the Cougars side of the ledger:
