CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF) – Motorists traveling on I-75 North in Campbell County should be aware of upcoming bridge repair activities that will have a significant impact on traffic.

Beginning at 7pm June 12, the right lane on I-75 North will be closed near Exit 134 (Caryville/Jacksboro/LaFollette). This lane closure will be in place 24/7 and will allow crews to perform deck repairs to the bridge over Better Chanee Road. This bridge work is expected to be complete on or before 6am on Sun. June 15.

Bridge repair work on I-75 South in this area is now complete, and both lanes will be back open later this evening.  

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.  Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
