LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Last Saturday at 6pm, the Campbell County Christian Learning Center hosted its annual Gala Agape event.

Master of ceremonies Alan Miller spoke Saturday night, and music was provided by The Harris Trio Jazz Band.
Joy Longmire, the ministry assistant at the CCCLC opened the night in prayer.
Stephanie Hester, program director and teacher addressed the crowd. Hester stated, “our mission at the Christian Learning Center (CLC) is that students would encounter and embrace the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ through the truth of God’s word. We feel called toward the daily work of offering this good news to a lost and dying generation, and, hopefully, for generations to come. With the faith that God’s Spirit would draw them to himself and bring revival in our land. The coursework we offer is designed for every student who desires to learn.”
Development director Maria Roberts says the CLC provides a powerful opportunity to share the gospel with students. She states, “Through this ministry, we have the privilege of bringing God’s word to students throughout the week, creating a safe space where they can ask questions, grow in their faith, and discover more about who God is.”

Jeff Sweat, who is the newest board member at the CCCLC, talked about how the Lord is working in Campbell County and reclaiming faith-based presence in local schools.
