Nearby structures at Alder Springs were protected from a mobile home fire

A mobile home was destroyed by fire on Tuesday afternoon.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (LWAF)- At 2:28pm Tuesday, less then an hour after crews cleared the scene of a fire at the Towe String Road Convenience Center, Campbell County Rural Fire Service Firefighters were dispatched to Dogwood Acres near Norris Lake at Alder Springs for a report of a structure fire.

When crews arrived, they found a single-wide mobile home with heavy fire coming from it.

Crews contained the fire, and there were no injuries.

Heavy fire was coming from this single-wide mobile home when firefighters arrived before 3pm Tuesday.
