LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- On Saturday afternoon, the entire community gathered at the Ball Farm Event Center for the 25th Annual Bluegrass Breakdown, a yearly event that supports CASA of Campbell County. For the 25th year in a row, the event showcased the community spirit that featured everything from catered BBQ to exciting bluegrass music performed by The Lonesome Steel Rails and Free Rein Bluegrass Bands.

The highlight of this year’s event was a performance by Christian artist Greg Marlow who took some time out of his schedule to perform a couple of his hit songs, “Everybody Smiles” and “Second Chances,” and the local artist even took time to share stories about his hit songs. For the people that gathered, it was Marlow’s performance that inspired and encouraged the attendees.

All of the fun led up to a live auction that was conducted by area auctioneer Bear Stephenson. The live auction featured some amazing items up for bids that ranged from gift baskets to gift certificates along with food items donated by area residents. All the fun of the live auction not only capped off an exciting evening that supported CASA of Campbell County, it also made for a fun night had by attendees.

For everyone involved, this year’s event was one for the record books as the community gathered to support CASA of Campbell County. And it was one for the books indeed as a community gathered to enjoy great bluegrass music, delicious food and a fun live auction that will be remembered for years to come.
