CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- The Town of Caryville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet in a special called meeting on Thursday at 6 pm to discuss the budget for the fiscal year 2026-27. The board met in a special called meeting last Thursday, and it appeared the budget was ready to move forward to a first reading.

However at Monday night’s regular monthly meeting, the board failed to make a second on passing the budget, leaving the budget unpassed.

The agenda was released on Tuesday for the special called meeting on Thursday night with one item on the agenda. That item is the budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 for personnel pay.
