Mr. Carl Junior Rose, age 65 of LaFollette earned his heavenly reward on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was a devoted member of New Life Ministries in Jacksboro. Mr. Rose was a former coal truck driver and loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, farming, and gardening. He was also a great cook, and found great joy in visiting with family and friends, and was never far from a cup of coffee. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Debbie Lynn (Reynolds) Rose in 1993, second wife, Kay (Paul) Rose in 2013, parents, Matt Lee and Virginia Rose, sister, Charlene “Sissy” Baird, brothers, Jim and Gary Rose, and dear friend, Billy Bolton.

He is survived by his daughter, Shanna Pratt and husband Mike; son, Dustin Rose and wife, Dana; special beloved grandchildren, Dakota Lee Goins, Tanner Chase Goins and wife, Macie, Hunter Collett, Brinley Brandenburg-Curtis, Riley Collett, and Shelbie Medley; extended grandchildren, Michael and Alexis; brother, Charles Matthew Rose; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 6:00 PM with Rev. Allen Shepherd officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, April 28, 2025, 10:00 AM at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Broyles Cemetery for 11:00 AM Graveside Services and Interment.
