Carl Edward Brown, age 70 of Clinton

Carl Edward Brown, age 70 of Clinton, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 2, 1955 to the late Bill and Bessie Ward Brown in Oliver Springs. Carl was a longtime member of Norris First Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.

Carl is survived by brothers, John L. Brown (JoAnn), and William Brown (Bobbie); sister, Zenna Bailey (Earl); special helpmates, Jenny Elkins and Phyllis Williams; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 1-2pm with the funeral service to follow at 2pm with Rev. Ricky Bailey officiating. His graveside will then follow at the Brown’s Flat Cemetery. www.leachfamilyfuneralhome.com
