Of the 16 county district, Campbell‘s 2.9% unemployment rate is second lowest (correction)

JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Friday morning, Campbell County Mayor Jack Lynch announced that Campbell County’s unemployment rate is at an all-time record low of 2.9%.
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development explain that Campbell County has recorded its lowest unemployment rate ever in the county’s history. A rate of 2.9% comes from the state’s most recent report which is from April 2025.
That’s the lowest unemployment rate ever recorded in Campbell County dating back to when the state began maintaining county-level unemployment records.
