JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Wednesday morning, all Campbell County High School freshmen gathered into the auditorium at CCHS to take part in the renewed freshman award ceremony.
A ceremony that used to take place every year was recently started back up this year by Campbell High Principal Ben Foust and counselor Katherine Ayers.Â
“Freshmen, these awards will help with your college application process,” said Josh Parker who presented the majority of the awards.Â
To begin the ceremony, students with perfect attendance were honored. Those students were Kara Cook, Elijah Kidwell, Lucian Lanter and Lucas Wilson.
Following this, a few students from each class were presented a certificate of academic excellence.

Thad Aanderud was presented with a special award, honoring his perfect score on the Algebra 1 EOC
