VASPER, TN (WLAF)- Mark Nagi with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reminds us that I-75 has one lane closed in each direction 24/7 near Caryville (Exit 134) for bridge repair activity. Work continues on both the north and south bound bridges at Vasper, near Vasper Hollow.

Both right lanes of I-75 are closed on the Vasper Bridges for repairs.

All work is expected to be complete on or before Sunday, May 25, according to Nagi.

This is a look south from the southbound lanes of I-75 from the Vasper Bridge.

These lane closures will allow crews to perform substructure and deck repairs to the Vasper Bridges over Better Chanee Road and the R.J. Corman Railroad.

You can see where work is taking place in the right lane of the Vasper Bridge on the southbound side of I-75.
