LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- On Tuesday, the lowest price for a gallon of regular gasoline around Campbell County was $2.43. That all changed Wednesday with the week’s first jump at the pump.

Wednesday finished with the lowest price at $2.65 a gallon , and then Thursday’s jump took us to $2.85 a gallon.

The Central Avenue Bridge refurbishment project was close to wrapping up on this date five years ago. WLAF’s Charlie Hutson snapped this photo from high above using Eagle I. The pandemic was in full swing and gas was $1.74 a gallon.
