Bessie Lee Stover, age 85, of LaFollette, formerly of Columbus, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. She was a St. Luke United Methodist Church member in Columbus, GA, for well over 20 years. She loved gardening, painting, and was a seamstress for a time. She was also an artist and loved to travel. Preceded in death by Parents: William and Bessie Eaves, Son: Tommie Loveless, Sisters: Josphine Eaves, Faye Rhinehart, Brothers: John Eaves and J.R. Eaves.

Survived by:

Husband: Lorimer C. Stover, husband of 51 years

Daughters: Jennifer Nix, Elaine Loveless, Kaycee Nosek (Tom), Lori Stelzer (Dustin)

Grandchildren: Willow, Beka, Aaron, and David

Brother: Paul Eaves (Margaret)

Many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, with Rev. Dale Baker officiating.
