Bernice Louise Miller, 61, of La Follette, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was a loving Mother, Wife, Granny, and Nana. She was married to the love of her life for 42 years. Bernice loved her grandbabies, her dogs, gardening, canning, and going to yard sales. She was a cook at LaFollette Middle School for 36 years. She is preceded in death by Mother: Maudie Bell Prim, Father: Willard Dowell, Brother: James Willard Dowell Jr., and Precious Aunts: Joyce Ann Pierce, and Charlene Jones.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. David Goins Officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Pond Cemetery for an 11 AM Interment.
