There is a TORNADO WATCH until 2am Wednesday
LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The main story is the chance of severe weather today, especially this afternoon and evening into the early overnight hours in a time frame of after 8pm through 2am Wednesday. Be prepared for possible watches or warnings. Conditions will be sufficient for supercell thunderstorms.
While isolated, any supercells with present a risk of damaging winds, heavy rainfall, hail, and tornadoes. However, we’re thinking the worst of the severe weather will be west and south of Campbell County which is in a category 3 for severe weather on a scale of 1 to 5. There is localized flash flooding potential, mainly in flood prone locations. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/20/2025-11AM-GRAPHICS COURTESY OF NWS MORRISTOWN)
