Barbara Sue Mardis, age 86, of LaFollette completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 4:10 am and heard those wonderful words “Well done, thou good and faithful servant!” Barbara was born on October 26, 1938, in Campbell County, TN to Michael and Rosa Gallahan. She was the oldest of her 6 children. She grew up to have her own 4 children and to marry Bill Mardis Sr. She enjoyed going to church, word searches, reading and baking for her grandchildren. She loved her children immensely. She had a green thumb and could grow anything from just a leaf. She enjoyed the sunshine and being outdoors. She loved going to J.C. Penney’s and spending that dough. She may have been a petite woman, but she undoubtedly was a force to be reckoned with. She attended Thirteenth Street Faith Tabernacle Church of God.
