Barbara Jean Boshears, age 91, of Jacksboro, TN, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. A sweet soul with a servant’s heart, Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse aide, offering comfort and compassion to those in need.

Her love extended beyond her work and into her home, where she found joy in cooking and baking for her family. She was known for her warm, homemade potato soup and her famous cherry cake, recipes that brought comfort and sweetness to all who gathered around her table. And no one could forget her perfectly brewed sweet tea, a simple but cherished reminder of the warmth and love she poured into every part of her life.

Barbara’s faith in God was the foundation of her life. She lived with grace, finding strength in prayer and peace in her devotion. Her kindness and unwavering love for her family and friends reflected the heart of a woman who walked closely with the Lord.

She is survived by her loving family: Lynn and Vaughn, Kalyn Boshears, Makenzie (Matt) Mullins, and Dylan Phelps, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish the love and wisdom she shared with them. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eldon; her sons, Ronald and Sean; her daughter, GaQuetta; and her brother, Floyd. Though she is no longer with us, the lessons she taught and the love she gave will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Barbaras life was a testament to the beauty of a kind spirit and a giving heart. She will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to shine in the lives she touched. May we carry forward her legacy of kindness, faith, and the simple joys that made her life so special.
